City Council recently approved the Allocation Committee’s decision to allocate $5.1 million over three years (2020-2023) to continue the Community Childcare Initiative. The CCI grant means Levy funding will continue to support more than 300 children with annual access to affordable, high-quality childcare. Here’s what one mom had to say:

CCI supplements the state’s Employment Related Day Care subsidy, assuring that families who qualify pay no more than 10% of their annual income toward childcare.
A recent progress report showed:

➡️  97% of parents surveyed reported improved finances while participating in CCI

➡️ 100% reported a high level of overall satisfaction with their experience
