Program Areas
We fund programs for children birth through age 24 in six program areas that support positive early development, school engagement and academic achievement, high school graduation, and family safety and stability.
The original 2002 levy featured four program areas: after school, child abuse prevention and intervention, early childhood and mentoring. Community input on emerging needs led to the addition of foster care in 2008 and hunger relief in 2012 as new program areas. The six program areas are approved by voters as part of the Levy ballot measure.
