Meeting Agenda

1. Grantee Partner Reflections

Four grantee partners providing services in foster care and child abuse prevention/intervention program areas reflect on service delivery this past year.  Action: Committee questions, discussion, public comment.  (30-40 min)

2. Financial Report

Summary of budget to actual spending on program grants in 2020-21.  Action: Committee questions, discussion, public comment. (5-10 min)

3. Grantee Convenings

Highlights of grantee convenings to date and plans for fall.  Action: Committee questions, discussion, public comment. (5-10 min)

4. Establishing Community Advisory Committee

Staff will review proposal to establish a community advisory committee and grantee survey feedback on proposal. You can read the draft proposal here and the survey results report here. Action: Committee questions, discussion, public comment, decision on proposal.  (20-30 min)

5. Role of Levy in Supporting for Older Youth (ages 18-24) 

Review data on age groups served in Levy programming over past 5 years and discuss needs and gaps in supports for older youth in the community.  Action: Facilitated committee discussion, public comment. (20-30 min)

Allocation Committee meetings are open to the public and we welcome your comment on agenda items or the work of the Portland Children’s Levy.  

If you would like to offer comment at the Allocation Committee, please sign up using this form. After you sign up, you will receive an email invitation to join the Zoom meeting. The chair will call for public comment on non-agenda items at the beginning of the meeting, and after information and discussion on each agenda item.  You may speak for up to 3 minutes when called on to provide your comments.
